FAQ
Good questions.
Every number shows its assumptions. Ask away.
What is Forge?
Forge is a set of small tools for everyday work: calculators, quick references and checklists. Each one does one job, shows its assumptions and tells you when to check with a qualified person. Forge is made by Norventus, the team behind Watch Tower.
What is the difference between Crew and Labs?
Forge - Crew is for people who work on site or on the road: carpenters, electricians, plumbers, operators, drivers, technicians and farmers. Forge - Labs is for people who plan and analyze: engineers, scientists, analysts, planners, estimators and managers. Both use the same tools underneath, so pick the door that sounds like your day.
Do I need an account?
Not for the free tools: every role has one, and it opens without an account. You need an account for premium tools, so we know what you have paid for. One Norventus account works on Forge and Beacon.
How much does it cost?
Every role starts with one free tool. Every tool for your role is $10.20 a month at the launch price ($12 list), and each extra role $6.80. Paying by the quarter saves another 5%, by the year 8%. Bifrost AI, a plain-language read of your results, is an add-on at $5 a month. Watch Tower customers get 30% off Forge. Prices are in US dollars, and the Billing page shows the exact amount before you pay.
How do I pay?
With PayPal or Razorpay, on their own page. You pay the US dollar price; in India, Razorpay can charge it in rupees. Forge never sees your card. Purchases are final and non-refundable. Each payment covers the month, quarter or year you chose and does not renew by itself, so nothing is charged unless you choose to pay again. We email you 7 days and 1 day before a paid period ends.
Why do some tools cost money?
We are a small team. Every role keeps one free tool, and what people pay for premium tools funds new tools, fixes and more free picks. We fix and add tools often, and you can ask for the tool you need on the Back the team page.
What if something goes wrong?
The Help page covers a paid role whose tools are still locked, signing in, a forgotten password and when a plan ends, with a prefilled email for each. We reply within one business day.
Can I trust the numbers?
Every tool shows the formula's assumptions and limits next to the result. They are planning aids: codes, engineers, manufacturers and your own measurements have the last word.
Is this the same as the Toolkits in Watch Tower?
Yes. Forge and the Toolkits inside the Watch Tower Console share one catalog, so a tool fixed or added for one is fixed or added for both. A Forge account is a personal account: it does not open any Maverick workspace.
